‘Tala Tor’ group loots nine shops

KARACHI: A group named ‘Tala-Tor’ broke into several shops in Malir area of Karachi and made away with cash, cosmetics and clothes in the wee hours of Sunday.

According to details, the gang robbed nine shops in Anarkali Market, Model Colony in Malir, and fled the scene.

The Model Colony Station House officer visited Anarkali Market but instead of assuring the traders of the arrest the culprits he advised them to hire services of security guards to avoid such incidents in future.

The shopkeepers recorded their protest against police and demanded the chief minister to take notice of the incident and compensate them for their losses.

Separately, a man was found dead from the hills of Orangi town on Sunday.

The body of the man, Baddar Nawaz, 27, was found from the hills in Fareed Colony of Organi town in the city.
