LAHORE: A friendly cricket match was played between Civil Service Academy Alumni and Gujrat Bar Association at Railways Stadium here Sunday. Gujrat Bar Association are All Pakistan Bars’ champions. Toss was won by the CSA Alumni captain Hamdan who opted to bat first. The team made 207-7 in the allotted 30 overs. Captain Zahid played a brilliant knock of 72 under tough batting conditions. In reply, Gujrat Bar Association lost their 5 wickets for 47 runs. However, they recovered well and chase went deep into 27th over when Gujrat Bar Association were all out, still needing 42 runs. Asim and Zahid got three wickets each. Zahid, 35th CTP, was declared man of the match for his wonderful batting and bowling performance.
