RAWALPINDI: Three civilians were injured when Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing, targeting civilian population from across the Line of Control (LoC) on Sunday, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

ISPR said that three people, including two women, were wounded after Indian forces opened fire from across the border in Battal, Hot Spring and Khuiratta sectors.

The army media cell also said that Pakistan’s forces have befittingly responded to Indian violation of the ceasefire agreement.

On Tuesday, a citizen was martyred and two children were wounded, when Indian border forces opened indiscriminate firing at Nezapir Sector at Rawalakot.
