Imran offers Nisar to join PTI

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday offered discontented Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to join the Imran-led unit.

During an informal meeting with the journalists, Khan said that the former interior minister should join PTI, adding that sometimes ‘one has to make difficult decisions in life’. He, however, ensured that tehreek-e-insaf would support Nisar even if he chooses to contest elections as an independent candidate.

The PTI leader also alleged that the Intelligence Bureau (IB) leaks information regarding his personal life to the media, while he also termed Director-General (DG) IB Aftab Sultan as a ‘personal servant’ of the Sharif family.

Khan dismissed the idea of party cooperation with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) saying that PTI would not join hands with party co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari since it means joining hands with the former president and co-chief Asif Ali Zardari.

He also accused PPP and PML-N of planning to rig upcoming Senate Elections to claim chairman senate seat.
