ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Sultan Azam Temuri on Friday said that positive criticism would be welcomed as it helps to improve performance and remove the flaws in the functioning of any department. He stated this while addressing the concluding ceremony of a photo exhibition held at the National Council of Arts (PNCA). DIG (Security) Waqar Ahmed Chohan, DIG Operations Mir Vais Niaz, Senior Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Malik Matloob Ahmed, SSP (Security) Jameel Ahmed Hashmi, Zong Corporate Affairs Director Maham Naeem Dard and Rawalpindi-Islamabad Photo Journalists Association President Sajjad Haider were also present on the occasion.
“After seeing the various pictures at the exhibition, I have reached on a conclusion that photographers of media organisations are very talented and they perform the duties in very tough circumstances like that of a police department,” the IGP Islamabad said.
