ISLAMABAD: PCB Challengers’ Bismah Maroof has been ruled out of the forthcoming Triangular One-day Women’s Cricket Tournament due to a hamstring injury. Maroof was supposed to captain the PCB Challengers but with her being sidelined, the selectors have appointed Sidra Amin as the new skipper of the side. Meanwhile, Sana Taj has been drafted into the squad as Maroof’s replacement. In addition to the PCB Challengers, the Triangular One-day Women’s Cricket Tournament also features PCB Dynamites and PCB Blasters. The tournament will kick off in Multan from February 11, with the final scheduled for February 20. The three teams’ squads were chosen through a drafting process – a first for women’s cricket in Pakistan.
