LAHORE: The Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) Friday sealed 18 businesses of quacks and initiated proceedings against them.
Giving details, a spokesman for the PHC said that nine clinics of quacks, four of bonesetters, three dental clinics and two fake treatment facilities of hakeem were sealed.
The fake treatment centres that were sealed included Pervaiz Clinic, Ali Life Clinic, Al-Madina Clinic, Al-Shifa Clinic, Zafar Clinic, Al-Rehman Clinic, Mian Medical Clinic and Store, Khurram Pharmacy and Clinic, and Ali Free Dispensary.
Meanwhile, three dental clinics – Tayyaba Dental Clinic, Khan Dental Clinic and Bismillah Dental Clinic were also sealed. Rafique Bandoo Phalwan, Fakhar Pehlwan, Humayun Jarrah, Allah Tawwakal Dawakhana and Al-SaudiaTibi Foundation were among other fake treatment facilities that were closed by the PHC.
