Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachan has been admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after his health deteriorated.
The hospital has confirmed the news but refused to comment on why he was admitted.
However, Sources suggested that it might be a routine check-up.
Amitabh’s family members were also in the hospital reportedly.
The Bollywood star has been suffering from abdominal ailments for many years. he had also suffered a shoulder injury recently due to which he had to skip the birthday celebrations of his son Abhishek in Australia.
Earlier today, the teaser of his film 102 Not Out was released where Amitabh is seen portraying the role of a 102-year-old man and father to a 75-year-old man played by Rishi Kapoor.
