Zainab Murder Case: Accused Imran Ali Produced in Court a day before the hearing

Lahore: The suspected rapist and murderer of 8 years old Zainab, Imran Ali, was presented in Anti-Terrorist Court by the police on Tuesday. His hearing date was fixed for Wednesday, but for security reasons, he was presented in court a day before.

The court extended Imran Ali’s physical remand for three days.

Earlier on Jan 24, the suspect Imran Ali was remanded for 14 days in the custody of the police.

Imran Ali was arrested from Kasur after his DNA matched with that of Zainab. DNA and forensic report have already been submitted to the court. The police identify Imran as the only suspect in the case.
