KARACHI: Sardar Abdul Majeed Dasti has taken over the charge of new IG Sindh but the situation is still unclear because Allah Dino Khuwaja has refused to abandon the charge until the Federal Establishment Davison issues the notification for this.

The meeting was also attended by Additional IGP Sindh Aftab Pathan, Additional IGP Traffic and others high officials of Sind police department.

But PILER a NGO has filed a contempt of court application in Sindh High Court in which it is submitted that the court had issued a stay order on the transfer of IG Sindh last December and if he would be replaced it would be a clear case of contempt,” on Monday the court will hear the case and if AD Khuwaja abandons the charge it would be a contempt too” head of NGO PILER Karamarrt Ali told Daily times.

On the other hand the police on Sunday have baton charged a rally in favor of AD Khuwaja and arrested the leader of Fixit NGO with his other comrades near Karachi press club who were on their way to the CM house.
