Illegal constructions demolished

DADU: At least 400 illegal constructions were demolished by police and the Municipal Committee during a drive against encroachments in Mehar town on Saturday.

Drive against illegal encroachments was launched after visit of Justice Rtd, Amir Hani Muslim, chairman of water commission in Sindh which water commission was formed by SC-Supreme Court of Pakistan to conduct visits and report the SC on water issue in Sindh.

Chairman of water commission had visited some five days back at Kakool Wah in Mehar town and directed local administration and concerned departments to remove all illegal encroachments.

With help of machinery and staff of municipal committee Mehar, operation against illegal encroachment was launched.

400 illegal encroachments like Houses, shops, walls, bathrooms and shutters were demolished along with Kakool Wah.
