PCB organise women’s domestic triangular series

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Women’s wing is organising a triangular one-day women’s cricket tournament in Multan which will commence from February 11 to 20, 2018.

The matches will be 50 overs a side, where three teams PCB Challengers, PCB Blasters and PCB Dynamites will be participating.

For the first time in women’s cricket, a drafting process had been initiated during the selection process for the tournament. In the drafts, captains of the three participating teams in the presence of the women’s selection committee picked the players for their respective teams.

The teams will play four matches each in the ten-day tournament. The final will be played between the top two teams on February 20, 2018.

Pakistan national cricket team all-rounder Bismah Maroof will lead the PCB Challengers, Javeria Khan will lead PCB Dynamites and Nahida Khan will take charge of the PCB Blasters.
