PPP will win next polls: Murad

SHIKARPUR: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Monday said the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) would win upcoming general elections.

He was talking to journalists at a luncheon organised by former MPA Mir Babal Khan Bhayo at Bhayo House. He added that Sindh was the motherland of Sindhis who are its owners therefore they should avail the right of governing in Sindh.

However, every political party has its democratic right to hold public meetings for getting sympathies of the people in Sindh.

The CM claimed that due to good governance of the PPP rulers several famous people have joined the PPP after resigning from their political parties.

To a question about the posting/appointment of AD Khawaja as IG Sindh, he said that was the administrative matter which could be settled according to rules and the appointment was made in accordance with rules. He, however, said that he and his party leadership honour the court and they are trying to implement the decisions made by the courts.

Shah said that Bin Qasim Park was handed over to Bahria Town for rehabilitation and improvement.
He urged the oppositions to avoid playing politics of agitation and stop misguiding and misleading the people.
The CM asked the party leaders and workers of Shikarpur district to participate in the 38th death anniversary of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto on April 4 (today) at Garhi Khuda Bukhsh. On the occasion, Hadi Bukhsh Malik announced to join the PPP.
