RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa addressed UK ‘think tank International Institute for Strategic Studies.’
Sharing his thoughts on regional and international security environment, challenges and the way forward, the COAS apprised the participants about Pakistan’s achievements in its efforts against terrorism and militancy.
The COAS also talked about security situation in Afghanistan and its impact on peace and stability in region and beyond. He also highlighted prospects of CPEC towards economic development of the region.
Bajwa said that Pakistan is a peace loving country and wishes to resolve all unresolved issues with India, including the core issue of Kashmir.
The forum appreciated the honest expression of Bajwa and acknowledged Pakistan Army’s contributions towards peace and stability.
