Road scheme of Rs 230m near Khairpur inaugurated

KHAIRPUR: Central Information Secretary Pakistan People’s Party and member National assembly, Syeda Nafeesa Shah inaugurated the newly constructed Palh Village-Begmagi Road and Pure Path on Rohri at a cost of Rs 230 million on Tuesday.

Addressing a ceremony Nafeesa Shah said that the PPP government has always paid attention for providing basic necessities of the masses and the number of schemes of health, education roads, gas and electricity has been completed.

PPP has been manifested for betterment of the state as well as the masses of the country therefore people were inclined towards it.

Earlier PPP leader, Kazi Azizul Rehman highlighted problems of areas.

PPP local leaders, Haji Suleman Katohar, Masood Nabi Dogar, Shahid Nawaz Sial, Zaheer Jumani, Shah Nawaz Kalhoro and others were also present.

Meanwhile, spokesperson of Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur told local journalists that Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Parveen Shah had constituted Scrutiny Committee to scrutinize research papers of candidates as per criteria set by Higher Education Commission. The Committee comprises of heads of departments, concerned deans and director ORIC.
