KPS holds science and social studies exhibition, fun gala

KARACHI: Learning and knowing science through fun and interactive illusions, experiments and magic, Karachi Public School (KPS) held the Science & Social Studies Exhibition with Fun Gala at Safavi Campus in Karachi.

Ms Ghazala Baig, exhibition organizer told that eight campuses of Karachi Public School took part in exhibition and Jauhar campus is winner in Science projects adding that Science Exhibition is with live demonstration and its techniques through projects and models visitors may get involved in the wonders of science experiments, exhibition was being judged by renowned educationists related to science fields.

She told that live experimentation also took place in the science and technology section, where students understood chemical reactions and learnt scientific techniques from teachers.

Saira Mohyuddin shared her views that student to take keen interest in science and technology, saying only curios and hard-working students would be able to play a vital role in exploring science.

“Science & Social Studies Exhibition leverages fun, interactive exhibits to foster learning among students. Each exhibit aims to stimulate visitors’ curiosity, leading them to learn and retain simple but important scientific knowledge”, she added

Mrs Maroof ,Principle said the exhibition would provide an opportunity to the students to know more about latest scientific trends and technologies as they have done lot of research work before doing it.

Exhibition Coordinator Shahid Khan informed that Karachi Public School (KPS) also conducted interactive sessions for students counseling and motivation toward higher education beside there was a live experiments where students were trying to find answers to scientific reactions.

Mr Qazi, a parent who came to see exhibition shared that promote critical thinking among students and such learning spaces in this era is extremely important where anyone and everyone can come to learn, imagine and explore.

During interactive session speaker Ranjeet Kimar, trainer has expressed much more about the failure of individuals in their personal and professional lives after being graduated. “Students’ parents get the accountability of failure in students’ practical lives”, he added

Teachers also have had discussion on further issues of lack in students, the school principle Mrs Maroof inquired a few important question to motivational speaker how to get rid of incapability of students. She was replied that well educated teacher is not better than well trained and mental understating person thus teacher is supposed to know the mental level of student.

A large number of people and Parents along with children visited the exhibition to get be guided what to do and what not to do if seeing lack of grasping the real aim of education.
