Villager shot dead in Katcha area of Shikarpur

SHIKARPUR: A villager was shot dead by unidentified men belonging to Nareja community in Madeji Town, 20 miles off the Katcha Police Station on Tuesday. According to SHO Deedar Hussain Ghumro, Nabi Bakhsh, 35, son of Gul Nawaz, was shot dead by some unidentified armed men over an old enmity between the two groups of the Nareja community.

The area police shifted the body of the deceased to the Madeji Taluka Hospital for an autopsy and later handed it over to the heirs. No case had been registered until the filing of this report.
