Khyber journalists stand by their brethren in Bajaur

KHYBER AGENCY: The tribal journalists of Landi Kotal Press Club condemned the attack and shutting down of the Bajaur Press Club by the traders’ community of Bajaur Agency and demanded an investigation into the incident.

An emergency meeting of the media was held at the Landi Kotal Press Club on Saturday which was attended by the local media. The participants expressed their regret over the wrongdoing of the business community of Bajaur by closing the press club on the pretext of not granting coverage to the clash of the traders and the administration officials during an anti-encroachment drive, carried in the town yesterday.
