Author: Staff Report

HYDERABAD: Unannounced and prolonged electricity load shedding coupled with low gas pressure has disrupted the life and business activities in the city and its adjoining areas. Amid the claim of uninterrupted power supply from Hyderabad Electric Supply Company, frequent interruption of electricity with repeated fluctuations caused damage to thousands of electrical and digital appliances of power consumers in various parts of the city. With announced load shedding, citizens are also experiencing power outages due to the faulty transformers, feeders and grid stations. Anjuman-e-Tajran president and other members of the business community told Daily Times that due to constant power failures, their businesses had suffered massively.
