DADU: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Sindh chief minister Liaquat Ali Jatoi Tuesday accused the Pakistan People’s Party leaders of embezzling funds meant for development schemes, floods disasters, constructions and repair of embankments of dykes in their respective areas.

Addressing a gathering outside the Dadu Press Club after inauguration a PTI membership drive in Dadu, he said that PPP elected representatives were purchasing petrol pumps and costly properties in Pakistan and abroad from the looted money.

He said that PPP Sindh government had been neglecting Dadu district in development schemes and mega projects for the last decade.

He said that kachho belt located in Dadu district was facing water shortage. He said that local people in kachho were using dirty water which was causing various fatal diseases.

Referring to the health facilities, he said all hospitals in Kachho belt were presenting a gloomy picture.

He alleged that all top level posts in government departments were occupied by corrupt people. He said that the PTI would launch a series of protest in all towns of Sindh and against rampant corruption. PTI office bearers will lodge complaints against PPP legislators in NAB and courts of law.

He said that contracts for development of Gorakh Hill station were being given to blue-eyed persons who were looting people/tourists and government’s exchequer.

He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government would certainly punish murders of both Benazir Bhutto and Mir Murtaza Bhutto.

He advised PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to make efforts to get arrested murderers of slain PPP leaders.

He appealed to authorities concerned to hold Zardari accountable. He said that PPP was using the Sindh Police against its opponents.
