It is quite appreciable and praiseworthy that the Pakistan army has acquired latest drone technology to strengthen the security of these assets. This technology has great utility in monitoring these important installations across the country.

According to reports in the media, the Uqab drone, which has been prepared by a private company using the latest drone technology has a flight capacity of 15 hours, can carry missile with weighing a 1000 kilograms, can be flown in the limit of 250 kilometres with remote control and its range can be maximized after connecting through satellite. The Uqab drone can also be used to carry out scientific and climatic analysis.

The private company which has developed Uqab drone plans to present it in the market for sale in a number of foreign countries including some in Europe.
