Remembering Manto

Sir: Sadat Hassan Manto came into this world on May 11, 1912. He was born in Punjab. He wrote a number of short stories and novels that went on to become literary greats. He was one of Pakistan’s heroes of poetry. He left this world on January 18, 1952.  It was his 63rd death anniversary just two days ago. He was one of Pakistan, and the world’s greatest writers. The government of Pakistan should conduct programs commemorating his 63rd death anniversary.
