FATA-KP merger will help develop tribal areas: Sirajul Haq

KHYBER AGENCY: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islam (JI) Sirajul-Haq said that the implementation on Divine Law of Quran in the court is the lonely solution of all problems being faced by the citizens of the country.

“We have come against corruption and will strive hard to eliminate it. Like other parts of the country Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) should be include in stream as soon as possible to remove sense of deprivation among the tribesmen”, JI chief was addressing to public gathering held in Jargo Khwar, Qambar Khel area of tehsil Bara, Khyber Agency on Friday.

He said that the JI would support the incumbent government for imposing of Islamic law in the country, adding key of miseries the people prevailed in Quranic Law to be make of court decree.

He stressed for immediate merging of the tribal belt into Khyber Pakhtukhwa and said for more than six decades the guardians of Western border (tribal) had been kept ignorant which was a step mother behavior towards them.

“FATA lacks well-furnished university and other professional institutions like medical college, therefore the government need to take war footing initiatives to established pro-tribal institutions”, Ameer JI remarked.

Siraj expressed his displeasure over the on-going census policy and said it should be done as per details in identity card since millions of tribesmen were displaced and were out of their home towns. He flayed the government for granting nominal package to the tribal Temporary Displaced Persons (TDPs) and demanded Malakand Division like relief package for them. Provincial Ameer JI Mushtaq Ahma Khan, naib ameer Haroon-ur-Rashid, ameer FATA Sardar Khan, naib ameer Zernoor Afridi and ameer Khyber Shah Faisal were among those who spoke on the occasion.
