LUMS International Sports Festival Team ICAS win Football Tournament

LAHORE: The LUMS International Sports Festival 2018 was held at LUMS, Lahore exhibiting over a high voltage, sports action. The sprawling campus was buzzing with activity during the sports extravaganza that included cricket, lawn tennis, boxing, table tennis, football etc. Budding footballers flew to Lahore from all over Pakistan, who also included twelve teams for the Under-19 Girls Football Tournament. The football tournament continued with an exciting exhibit of adroitness and virtuosity. Participating for the very first time at national level, Team ICAS from G-11, Islamabad won the Girls Football Tournament against LUMS Karachi with a sensational and unbeatable score of 5-0. Emaan Fayyaz, who also won best player of the tournament, scored all the five goals in the final match, making her team and school proud. Best goalkeeper of the tournament, Vera Ayub, was also from ICAS, giving her team an opportunity of dual celebration. The proud and elevated Team ICAS returned home with their heads held high and are all geared up to conquer any future events.
