RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday approved death sentences of 10 terrorists who were being trialed by the military courts.
According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, COAS approved death penalty of 10 terrorists involved in attacks on civilians, educational institutions, armed forces and law enforcement agencies. Additionally, another three convicts were sentenced to imprisonment for varying amounts of time.
The 10 terrorists are identified as Sami ur Rahman, Azeem Khan, Arshad Bilal, Anwar Ali, Muhammad Aleem, Fazal Aleem, Rasool Muhammed, Sohail Ahmed, Naimat Ullah and Rahmat Ali.
