KHAIRPUR: Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur students started collecting donation for their classmate after the university refused to issue scholarship to the needy students on Saturday. According to detail a poor student of Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur Ali Afzal Soomro studying in class 2nd year computer science is not in position to pay the fees of 2nd year therefore he submitted application before chairman of computer science for provide him scholarship as he will continued furthermore his study. The chairman asked him that registrar SALU has directed to all chairman of the departments to not forward application of any scholarship to him therefore he is not in position to forward the application. After refusal of SALU administration Farhan Mahar class fellow of poor students started to collect the money from the other class fellows and staff, collected Rs18000/- from the pocket money of other students and staff while Rs. 22000/= and Rs. 1000/= late fees are more required for the confirmation of fees. The Poor students Ali Afzal Soomro is talented students, he appealed the SALU administration, as well as other big people to help him in this regard as he will able to continued his study. The Director Finance SALU also telling to the students that he has no funds in accounts. It has mentioned that SALU collection Rs 2.2 million years from the salaries of staff under endowment fund and also receiving other related funds from many agencies for the issuance of scholarships to the poor deserved needy students but where money is spending which is a big question.
