HAMILTON: Pakistan national cricket team middle order batsman Umar Amin is set to replace Shoaib Malik, who sustained an injury during fourth One Day International (ODI) of the series against New Zealand, in final fixture on Friday.
Physio Vib Singh confirmed on Thursday that Malik is recovering well but would not be available for the fifth ODI against the Kiwis at Wellington.
Amin, already named in Pakistan Twenty-20 International squad to face New Zealand, will replace the veteran all-rounder.
The green team has lost all of the first four fixtures of the five-match series against the Kiwis.
