KARACHI: Minister of Railways Saad Rafique lashed out at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed on Thursday for using derogatory remarks against the parliament at Mall Road protest.

“Those who are using foul language against the elected parliament should apologise to the nation,” Rafique said in a tweet, also saying that leaders who hold an anti-parliament stance have lost the ability to build a sound argument.

The minister also called Khan, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari ‘shameless’ in his twitter message.

Earlier, PTI and AML chiefs had lambasted the parliament, using remarks such as ‘lanat’, for allowing ‘criminals’ (referring to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spearhead Nawaz Sharif) to be elected as party president.
