Saeed Akhtar’s solo exhibition starts

LAHORE: An 11-day solo exhibition by Saeed Akhtar – a prominent Pakistani portrait painter — started at Ejaz Art Gallery on Sunday. Out of 49 artworks of Saeed Akhtar, 18 paintings and 31 sketches have been put on display.

A large number of art lovers, art students and senior artists along with from different walks of life people thronged to the gallery and appreciated the artwork that was showcased.

Saeed Akhtar said that more than three years had been spent on the art works that had been displayed at the gallery. He used oil on canvas, charcoal on canvas and charcoal on paper as a medium to express his artistic approach and thinking.

The exhibition will continue till January 24.
