Disabled persons protest for realisation of quota

DADU: A large number of disabled persons of District Disability Forum on wheelchairs staged protest demonstration for realisation of their five percent disabled quota in front of Dadu Press Club.

Carrying banners and placards they raised slogans in favour of their legal demands.

Basheer Ahmed and Muhammad Hussain said that Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has increased their quota from 2 percent to 5 percent but it has not been implemented.

Disabled persons have been facing financial crises since long but Sindh government remained a silent spectator on the issue.

They said families of disabled persons wanted freedom from corrupt system and their children wanted to see bright future.
