For all those too excited to see actor Faran Tahir mark his appearance on the current season of ‘The Magicians’, there is something else to be equally excited about.

His look for the character was revealed only but recently.

As it is with all the other cast members of ‘The Magicians’, Faran Tahir’s look is truly unique and his styling has been done in the most impeccable way. The genre of the TV series was such that required the star to look that way.

Tahir’s name in this American TV series is The Great Cock of the Darkling Woods. Sounds exciting, right?

Tahir is playing the brother of Winter’s Doe/The White Lady, who was already introduced to thr viewers during the second season of ‘The Magicians’.

Tahir’s character would be a magical creature who serves as an aid to the High King of Fillory, Eliot Waugh.

The look and the role entitles Tahir to be menacing and also have a wicked sense of humor which is why him and Eliot will end up connecting.

For those of you who are not familiar with Tahr’s work, he is known for his character Raza, the leader of a terrorist organisation, “The Ten Rings” in the blockbuster hit ‘Iron Man’. He has also appeared as Bolshintsov in “A Month in the Country”.

He is a graduate of Berkeley in Theatre before acquiring another degree from the American Repertory Theater’s Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University.

He debuted in the film industry with ‘The Jungle Book’ and has starred in ‘Picture Perfect’, ‘Anywhere But Here’ and ‘Charlie Wilson’s War’. He also played the male lead in the 1999 independent film ‘ABCD’. He has also starred in ‘Star Trek’. In 2013, Tahir starred in ‘Elysium’.

He has also guest starred on ‘Alias, The Practice, Family Law, The Agency, NYPD Blue, Lost, 7th Heaven, The West Wing, Walker, Texas Ranger, The D.A., 24, Monk, Justice, Cold Case, Chuck and Warehouse 13. And how could we forget his role in Manticore and Grey’s Anatomy?
