CTD officials arrest seven ‘terrorists’ from Multan

MULTAN: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed to have arrested seven suspected terrorists during an operation in Multan on Tuesday. According to media reports, the CTD officials conducted an operation in Suboda area of Multan on Tuesday and arrested the suspects, besides recovering firearms, grenades and explosives from them. The CTD officials shifted the arrested men to an undisclosed location for further interrogation. According to officials, the suspected terrorists were planning to hit sensitive installations in the city. They also said that the apprehended men were members of banned terror outfit Jamaat-ul-Ahrar.
