Hundreds protest against suspension of water supply

GUJRANWALA: Hundreds of residents including large number of women from Mohallah Karim Pura staged a demonstration against WASA for disconnection of water supply for the last one month. The protesters chanted slogans against Wasa officers and alleged that they have made many complaints in Wasa office but no action was done to resolve the matter and they are still deprived of drinking water. They protesters demanded the concerned authorities to take notice on the matter and their water supply may be restored on priority basis.
