KARACHI: The Law Enforcement Agencies have collected some important clues which can lead them to arrest the suspects which were involved in the attempted bombing on Chinese Engineer’s convoy on Monday.

Teams of police and other LEAs have apprehended some suspicious elements from far flung areas of Bin-Qasim Town and Steel Town by sorting out possibe relevant Calls . Data Records (CDRs) were obtained During the Geo-Fencing of the particular area where the bomb was detonated, sources claimed while informing Daily Times.

“Special teams, tasked to arrest the culprits are working day and night in some parts of interior Sindh and Karachi specially in the Khairpur area form where some leads have been found” sources further claimed.

Foot prints of some close comrades of Darya Khan Chief of SRA have been traced in joint investigation with Sukkur police while some former students of Shah Abdullah Bhittai University probably would be interrogated in coming days.

On Monday morning around 7: am the terrorists attempted to attack Chinese Engineer’s convoy with an Improvised Explosive Devoice but luckily no damaged was done as the convoy just crossed the point a little earlier.

Bomb was planted in green belt on national highway in the Bin-Qasim area.

DIG East, Arif Hnif at that time confirmed that after the incident LEAs launched a search operation in the area to trace the suspects. According to the DIG Arif Hnif the suspects of convoy of Chinese engineers left some pamphlets on the spot claiming the responsibility of the blast.

“Sindhudesh Liberation Army is involved in the incident as its terrorists have been doing such activities in all over the Sindh to disturb peace” he informed.

Meanwhile the SRA claimed the responsibility of the blast saying that it was the part of their activities against the projects of CPEC.

After the incident Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah and Provincial Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal chaired a high level meetings with police officials the directed them to improve the security of Chinese, beside that a Chinese delegation also had a meeting with Sohail Anwar Siyal in this connection.

According to the sources SRA’s activities in Sindh are very similar to Baloch Libration Army in Baluchistan and they had the same like foot-prints towards the Border areas of Pakistan form where they receive foreign assistance.
