teachers promised to be promoted

KHAIRPUR: The newly elected office bearers of Shah Abdul Latif University Teacher Association (SALUTA) led by its president Prof. Dr. Minhoon Khan Laghari and General Secretary Prof. Dr.

Ikhtiar Ali Ghumro called on Prof. Dr. Parveen Shah, Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur at her office on Wednesday. Prof. Dr. Parveen said, teaching fraternity is the main stakeholder of the University because teachers are the nation builders and their services are vital for the nation’s awareness and against illiteracy. Dr. Shah assured the office bearers that their genuine and legal problems will be resolved on top priority basis. Prof. Dr. Minhoon Khan Laghari and Prof. Dr. Ikhtiar Ali Ghumro assured the Vice Chancellor that they will extend their full cooperation in the interest of the institution and for the cause of promotion of excellent services for the promotion of higher education, research and development of the University.

They requested the Vice Chancellor that the Selection Board for the faculty members may be convened in the end of April. Vice Chancellor assured them that hopefully the Selection Board will be held in the end of April.
