TAUNSA: The Security Forces claimed to have gunned-down three alleged terrorists and recovered huge cache of weapons and explosives tunnel during a search operation in Taunsa and Turbat areas respectively.
On a tip-off, the Security Forces conducted search operation in Taunsa area on Thursday, where the terrorists started firing at the security Forces. The Security Forces retaliated and shot dead three terrorists.
According to ISPR, Security Forces foiled a major terror bid on Thursday in Turbat and recovered weapons buried in large quantity. The Security Forces also recovered weapons, explosives and other equipments.
During search operations in South Waziristan and Upper Dir areas, the personnel recovered explosives tunnels, hand grenades, cell phones, Indian branded plastic drums, and explosives.
Meanwhile, Rangers, Police conducted joint search operations in different areas of Hafizabad and rounded 57 suspected persons including 16 Afghans under violation of Foreign Act.
