KHAIRPUR: Additional Deputy Commissioner Riaz Hussain Wasan along with his staff raided office of the assistant commissioner and Taluka Mukhtiarkar Office, Pir Goth (Kingri).
They checked revenue rights record and found fake entries and sale certificates and Form- 2, A-7 and form- B-7 without register numbers.
Talking to local journalists, the ADC-1 said that the raid was conducted on direction of Deputy Commissioner Khairpur, Muhammad Sohu and on complaints of public that bogus entries were being made in revenue record. The raids were also being conducted in all eight talukas.
He said according to attendance register five officials Mumtaz Merani, Fida Hussain Birohi, Farman Ali Khorkhani, Aijaz Ali Solangi, Iqrar Ahmed were found absent and they would be issued show cause notices.
He said action would be taken against revenue officials whose were involved in making fake documents of properties and land.
