Will not make compromises on Kulbhushan issue: Pakistan Army

RAWALPINDI: It was decided in a corps commanders conference on Thursday that no compromise would be reached in the matter of Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav.

According to the ISPR, a corps commanders conference was held to discuss matters pertaining to national security and regional circumstances. Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa chaired the meeting.

During the meeting, Kulbhushan Yadav’s death sentence issue also came under discussion. It was decided in the conference that no compromise or understanding would be reached when it comes to anti-state measures.

Army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa praised the role of security institutions in the recent population census that was undertaken in Pakistan.

Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad and process of ongoing National Housing and Population census also came under discussion. The Army Chief appreciated formations, intelligence agencies and Law Enforcement Agencies for successful execution of operations.
