Sixty deserving students to get scholarship

KHAIRPUR: Khairpur District Scholarship Board will award 60 scholarships to deserving students seeking admission in government educational institutions.

A Board meeting under the chairmanship of the Board and Deputy Commissioner Khairpur, Muhammad Nawaz Sohu decided allocating 10 percent quota for girls, 5 percent for minorities and 2 percent for special (disabled) students.

Additional Deputy Commissioner-1, Riaz Hussain Wasan was named focal person for distribution of scholarship.

Secretary of Board, Dr Farukh Bhambro informed the meeting that a ceremony in this effect would be held soon. Professor Mumtaz Hussain Mughal, Professor Muharam Ali Khaskheli, ADC-2 Ayaz Memon, Hafeezullah Shaikh, Saleem Tanwari, Sajid Hussain and others attended the meeting.
