LAHORE: Lahore Mayor Col (r) Mubashir Javed chaired a meeting regarding arrangements of Ramadan bazaars in multiple parts of Lahore during the Holy month of Ramadan, starting from the end of May.

The meeting was attended by metropolitan officers of corporation, TMOs and representatives of food, market committee and others.

While addressing the officials, Lahore Mayor revealed that it had been decided to set up as many as 31 Ramadan bazaars in the provincial capital so that relief could be given to general masses.

“Arrangements should be completed in time,” he instructed the officials concerned.

Mubashir further said that top quality commodities should be sold out in these bazaars, while there should be proper arrangements of cleanliness, tenting and security in the bazaars.
