LAHORE: The trials for the 36th National Boxing Championship will start at WAPDA Sports Stadium here from Wednesday (today). Media Coordinator of Punjab Boxing Association Pervez Raja, said Tuesday that players between 19 and 40 years of age would be selected during the trials. “Candidates must have ID cards and Pakistan Medical Cards for taking part in the trials. Physical weight of the boxers should be around 91, 81, 75, 69, 64, 60, 56, 52, 49 depending upon participants’ height and age,” he said. The event is being organised by the Pakistan Boxing Federation.
