RAWALPINDI: The Education Department (ED) Rawalpindi has failed to achieve the set target of collective enrolment of 389,000 students in Primary, Middle and Higher Secondary Schools in the Rawalpindi Division.
Around 41,215 students have been enrolled in Primary, Middle and Higher Secondary Schools under new enrollment campaign.
District Education Authority Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has assigned the task to the respective officers to achieve the enrolment target before 30th April.
Around 69,8100 students have been enrolled in class one at primary level.
The ED Rawalpindi has enrolled around 41,215 students from class first to Grade 10.
The department enrolled around 13388 and 27863 students in prep-5th grade and 6th-10th Grade respectively.
District Education Officer Akhram Zia said that around 41000 have been enrolled. He also claimed that around 90 percent among the set target would be achieved till the deadline as the campaign is going on successfully.
