APC politicising Model Town incident: Rana Sanaullah

LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Saturday that the All Parties Conference held in Lahore was an effort to politicize the Model Town incident ahead of the 2018 elections.

In a TV interview, the Punjab minister said the opposition political parties wanted to start a poisonous propaganda against the government. “They know that they cannot complete with Mian Nawaz Sharif in the coming elections,” he said.

To a question, Rana Sanaullah said that no new NRO was being introduced in the country. “The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership is in Saudi Arabia for routine discussion.

No country, not even Saudi Arabia, interferes in our internal affairs. Saudi leadership wants to discuss the situation in the region with the former PM,” he said.
