Top seven items to try out at the luxury café

CHEESE NACHOS — the cheese nachos at Gold Restaurant are worth a try. I like my food filling and rich in taste, flavour and aroma. Their cheese nachos tick all these boxes. The nachos are prepared with cheese, veggies, jalapenos and egg. The dip at the side is spicy, tangy and very appetising.

CHICKEN CHEESE BURGER — Gold’s chicken cheeseburger is a must try. It’s served hot, with a big patte of crispy chicken, with cheese, tomatoes, mayonnaise, cucumber and jalapenos inside, along with chunky fries and coleslaw. I like how the bun is juicy and big.

CHOCOLATE CHIP ICECREAM — and as we all know how every meal is incomplete without a dessert at the end, I ordered my share of chocolate chip ice cream which was served pineapple and dark chocolate sauce topping.

CRISPY CHICKEN FINGERS — I ordered these from their appetisers menu and instantly fell in love with it. The dish came with a generous amount of six long, chicken sticks served with a filling dip of garlic mayonnaise.

GRILLED CHICKEN SALAD — I like how special attention to detail is paid at the restaurant’s meal. Their salads are no different. Their presentations are simply mind blowing and a genius work of art. I liked how their grilled chicken salad was so meticulously prepared with fresh cabbage, grilled chicken, olives, toasted bread and garlic mayo sauce as dressing with a delicious dip at the side too.

PAN FRIED FISH WITH MASHED POTATOES — considering the chilly season of winter upon us, I rediscovered the seafood lover in me with this one. I ordered their pan fried fish with mashed potatoes, and cleaned up my plate so quickly, my friends teased me afterwards. Three huge chunks of fried fish are served with a hot, creamy sauce topping with mashed potatoes and freshly cut veggies.

PINA COLADA — the Pina Colada at Gold is a must try. It’s creamy, frothy, served chilled and not once do you feel that it’s watery or without any taste. They serve a rich helping in a huge goblet and the drink is colourfully topped with shredded coconut and pineapple. It’s a refreshing drink and one can even have it during winter season to go with your food.
