LAHORE: Members of the civil society on Saturday gathered at Liberty Chowk in Lahore to hold demonstration demanding retrieval of the missing peace activist Raza Mehmood Khan.

Raza had gone missing on December 2, 2017 and no trace of him has so far been found. It is claimed by his friends and colleague that he might have been abducted by the security agencies.

An FIR was filed at Naseerabad Police Station and Raza’s brother also filed a petition in Lahore High Court but the Naseerabad Police Station Head Officer told the court on December 22, the last hearing so far, that the police was unable to find him.

LHC had ordered the security agencies to find Raza as soon as possible.
