First female police driver selected in Dadu

DADU: A female police constable among 182 other police driver candidates has passed the test, to be appointed as a test in Dadu, which was conducted by SSP Dadu with on the direction of IGP Sindh AD Khawaja here on Saturday.

Police drivers’ candidates were tested physically by police with availability of SSP Dadu Qumar Raza Jiskani. After finalizing the test, the results showed thata out of 276 only 183 candidates of police drivers passed the test. Among the candidates that passed was a woman driver, who is a resident of Kacho area of Dadu. Remaa Nizamani also passed the test of police drivers. The said female driver has cleared metric from Dadu district. Among 276 candidates 183 have passed the test of police and 78 candidates were filed and 15 candidates were absent.

Speaking to this correspondent, passed female candidate Remaa Nizamani said that she had applied to many departments. She said that she belongs to a poor family of the Nizamani Community. She said that despite their villagers’ anger at her, her family members’ support her that she has passed the drivers’ test in the police department. Talking to newsmen SSP Dadu, Qumar Raza Jiskani said that during the test of police drivers there was merit and they would not listen to any kind of illegal advice. SSP Dadu Qumar Raza said that owing to launching the merit system in the police poor families’ educated students have got jobs in the police which is not only beneficial for the police department but it is beneficial for the powerless people.
