ISLAMABAD: A hot and dry spell of weather will prevail in major areas of Sindh, central and South Punjab, Kashmir and isolated areas of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the next one week.
According to the Met Office, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. Moreover, very hot weather is expected in Naseerabad, Makran, Sibbi, Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, Hyderabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, D.G. Khan and D.I. Khan divisions during the next whole week.
The temperature recorded in some major cities were Islamabad 31°C, Lahore 34°C, Karachi 37°C, Peshawar 27°C, Quetta 21°C, Gilgit 13°C, Murree 22°C, Muzaffarabad 22°C, Jacobabad, Larkana, Turbat 47°C, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkar, Mithi, Chhor, Moenjodaro, Padidan, Lasbella, Sibbi 46°C, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar ,Rahim Yar Khan , Sukrand 45°C.
