LARKANA: The day of December 27 is the black day of Pakistan’s history as first woman prime minister of Islamic world was martyred in the streets of Rawalpindi on that day.

Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani while talking to local journalists at Garhi Khuda Bux after visiting graves of former prime ministers of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto said assassination of Mohtarma has left deep impressions in Pakistan and in the region as well. He said that on this day people remained grieved no matter which region they belong to.

He said had Mohtarma been not assassinated, internal and external politics of Pakistan would have been totally different.

Rabbani said those powerful elements who killed Mohtarma never wanted to see Pakistan as strong, democratic and developing country and they always wanted to create uncertainty in region to push their political agenda ahead.
