22 suspects arrested in Mardan lynching case

MARDAN More arrests were made by the police regarding the murder of Mashal Khan, an Abdul Wali Khan University student.

According to the Inspector General of Police, (IGP), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the total number of arrested has gone up to 22.

The footage obtained from CCTV cameras installed in the university premises along with recordings obtained by the police from cellular phones were of great help for identifying and arresting the suspects.

The civil court announced a one-day police remand of the arrested individuals on Sunday.
