Failed policies of rulers ruined agriculture in Sindh says Qureshi

HYDERABAD: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Vice President, Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the flawed policies ofthe rulers have ruinedthe agriculture sector in Sindh province and local farmers have been facing a severe economic crisis.

PPP government has broken all records of corruption in Sindh and one MPA who belongs to Thar was master of corruption and alleged that he was supporter of India.

Qureshi reached Chachro where a number of people, party activists and Ghousia Jamaat disciples gave him a warm welcome.

Shah Mahmood addressing a public gathering said that the ruling PPP has never done anything good for Sindh and its people during its terms. He said that agriculture is in shambles and now cotton growers have been facing worsened exploitation as they were not getting fair price for their produce.

He saluted brave people of Thar, saying that regime was pressing them hard due to their support to PTI.

He said now their crop water has also been stopped and they were being booked in false cases and they were bravely facing these atrocities of PPP government.

He said everything was in control of Allah Almighty and their enemies would Inshallah soon be disgraced.

He criticised PPP local leaders and said that in next era PTI would give people justice, equity, respect, education, healthcare and jobs to Thari people.

He said the country would be put on the path of progress and prosperity in the prospective government of PTI.

Halim Adil Sheikh said that besides political atmosphere of the country, institutions have also been affected, adding that “Institutes are politicised and affected by nepotism, that is why they cannot perform efficiently.”

He said that such corrupt practices in Thararkar institutions were responsible holding back area from progressing. Member National Assembly, Lal Malhi, PTI Minorities Wing President, Jay Perkash Ukrani, Arbab Anwar Akbar Palli, Amen Muhammad Sangrasi, Asif Nohri and other leaders also addressed jalsa.
